Finished knives


The first batch of completed knives. All except the bottom piece are made from various saw and industrial cutting blades layered up with mild steel. The layers after folding are between 2400 and 2900. The knife at the bottom is one of a pair made from a broken saw chain. 





Cooking knife made of hand saw blade and mild steel. Approximately 2500 folded layers plus twisting. Blade length 300mm. Handle unidentified Australian hardwood.


Cooking knife made from elevator cable. Blade 170mm long. Hickory handle.


Batch 2

First six blades are slasher blade, bearing cup (nickel steel) and mild steel. Right side end two blades are auger blade. Bottom blade is various saw blades with mild steel. All handles Jarrah.












Batch 3. 

Utility, Paring and Tourne made from saw chain and jarrah. Usual hollow copper rivets.


 
Pocket knife. Damascus steel offcut from Batch 1.



Batch 4. 2 paring knives 1 mini cleaver. Cable damascus on the paring, slasher blade electro etched for the mini cleaver. Jarrah top and bottom, unknown hardwood on middle piece.



Damascus cable and unknown hardwood.
